Turnaround Times, Shipping & Order Deadlines

At Printoshop LA, we are committed to delivering high-quality custom apparel and printing services with reliable production times. Because every order is made specifically for you, our turnaround times may vary depending on order volume, design requirements, product type, and production availability.

Current Production Options

The following production options apply to custom apparel and bulk clothing orders.

We currently offer the following turnaround options:

  • [FREE] STANDARD: 15 Business Days Production + FREE UPS Ground Shipping

  • PRIORITY: 10 Business Days Production + FREE UPS Ground Shipping (+$100 per design)

  •  EXPRESS: 7 Business Days Production + FREE UPS Ground Shipping (+$150 per design)

Standard Production Time

Our standard production time for custom apparel is approximately 15 business days (3 weeks), beginning only after your order has been paid in full and your final artwork proof has been approved.

Please understand that production times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Since our custom apparel is printed to order, timelines may occasionally change based on production capacity, order complexity, or seasonal demand.

We always work to complete orders as efficiently as possible without compromising print quality.

DTF Transfer Printing Turnaround Times

Standard DTF Production: Approximately 24–48 Business Hours

Our Direct to Film (DTF) transfer printing services have a separate production schedule from custom apparel orders.

DTF transfers are generally produced within approximately 24–48 business hours after payment has been received and print-ready artwork has been accepted.

This turnaround applies to eligible DTF printing orders and does not include custom apparel production or shipping transit time.

DTF Production Schedule:

  • Business Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM Pacific Time.

  • Artwork Submission Cutoff: 2:00 PM Pacific Time.

  • Standard Production: Approximately 24–48 business hours.

  • Local Pickup: Available once the order has been confirmed ready for pickup.

  • Rush Services: May be available for an additional fee, subject to production capacity.

Orders or artwork submitted after the 2:00 PM cutoff may begin processing on the next business day.

DTF Artwork Requirements

To avoid delays, customers must submit artwork that meets our printing requirements.

  • Accepted formats include PNG, PDF, and AI.

  • Artwork should be high resolution, preferably 300 DPI.

  • Transparent backgrounds are required when applicable.

  • Low-resolution images and screenshots may not be suitable for printing.

  • Artwork requiring adjustments, background removal, or gang sheet preparation may require additional processing time and fees.

DTF turnaround times are estimates and may vary depending on order volume, artwork quality, and production availability.

Important: The 15-business-day custom apparel production schedule does not apply to eligible DTF transfer-only orders. DTF shipping fees and delivery options are determined separately from custom apparel production packages.

Shipping & Delivery

Once your custom apparel order has been completed, it will be shipped using UPS Ground.

  • Estimated transit time: 1–5 business days, depending on your shipping destination.

  • Standard shipping: FREE with our listed custom apparel production packages.

  • Expedited shipping: May be available upon request for an additional fee.

Shipping transit times are separate from production times. Delivery estimates may also be affected by shipping carrier delays beyond our control.

DTF transfer orders and other printing services may have different shipping rates and delivery options, which will be provided during checkout or when requesting a quote.

How to Place Your Order

We offer two convenient ways to order custom apparel through Printoshop LA.

Option 1: Order Directly Through Our Website (Recommended)

Choose your preferred apparel, select your quantities, upload your artwork, and complete checkout.

Once payment is received, our team will review your design and prepare a digital proof for your approval.

Artwork Proof Timeline:

  • Initial proof: Approximately 2–3 business days.

  • Proof revisions: Approximately 1–2 additional business days.

  • Expedited proof: Available for $9.99, with a target turnaround of 1 business day.

After receiving your proof, you can either approve the design or request adjustments before production begins.

Your 15-business-day standard production timeline begins once your payment and final artwork approval are both completed.

Option 2: Request a Proof Before Ordering

If you prefer to review your artwork before making a payment, you may contact the Printoshop LA team to request a custom proof.

Please note that prepaid orders receive priority in our artwork preparation queue, so pre-order proof requests may require additional processing time.

Once your design is ready and you decide to move forward, we can provide a personalized order link where you can select your sizes, review your artwork, and complete your purchase.

Because your design has already been prepared, production can begin once your payment and final approval are received.

Important Deadlines & Rush Orders

Have a Specific Delivery Deadline?

If you need your order for an upcoming event, company promotion, sports tournament, or other special occasion, we strongly recommend contacting Printoshop LA before placing your order.

Please provide:

  • Your order number, if already purchased.

  • The exact date you need your order delivered.

  • Any special shipping or production requirements.

Our team will review your requested deadline and determine whether your order can be completed within the available timeframe.

Depending on our production schedule, we may offer faster production or expedited shipping for an additional charge.

Please keep in mind:

  • Production does not begin until payment and any required artwork approval are completed.

  • Rush production is subject to availability.

  • Expedited services may require additional payment.

  • Requested delivery dates are not guaranteed unless explicitly confirmed by our team.

  • If we cannot accommodate your deadline, we will discuss the available options with you.
